This Heritage Collection Tree of Life Necklace features the traditional Tree of Life design, cast in pewter and hung from an adjustable, full length black cord. A design found in many cultures including the ancient Celts, the Tree of Life represented the convergence of natural forces to create unity, harmony, and balance. Believed to be the symbols of the “creator”, the Tree of Life- or Crann Bethadh- was the provider of food, warmth, and shelter. With its roots that buried deep into the soil and branches that stretched into the sky, the Tree of Life was also traditionally seen as the connection between Earth and the Heavens.
