Apothecary Folding Letters are a set of six botanically illustrated letter sheets featuring cyanotype artwork by UK artist Jake Lever. Each sheet measures 8.25 x 11.75 inches unfolded and folds down to 5 x 3.5 inches — the sheet itself becomes the envelope once folded and sealed, so no separate envelope is needed. The illustrations depict medicinal plants including fern, honesty, and witch hazel, sourced from the artist’s own garden and rendered in the deep blue tones characteristic of the cyanotype process. They are designed for handwritten notes sent through the post, and suit anyone drawn to botanical art, natural history, or the tradition of letter writing.
