McConnell Woollen Mills Diamond Boyfriend Aran Jumper is spun from the softest lambswool. This traditional aran sweater can be dressed with a contemporary twist and has a vibrant orange pop of colour around the collar. Features the diamond, honeycomb, and plait aran stitch. Part of the 2023 ‘Kilfenora’ collection.
Kilfenora is the lambswool collection, known as virgin wool. This is the first shearing of a sheep fleece at approximately seven months or younger. Lambswool is exceptionally smooth, soft, hypoallergenic, and difficult to wrinkle. Lambswool has a natural elasticity, making it a good choice of yarn for all knitwear, especially accessories of hats and gloves, as it offers such warmth. The Kilfenora range is comforting, soft to the touch, and young at heart. Kilfenora is named after a unique location in Clare, known for being the backdrop of ‘Father Ted’.
