Named for it’s creator and Ireland’s only female Patron Saint, St. Brigid’s Cross is one of Ireland’s national symbols, right alongside the Harp and the Shamrock. Traditionally made from woven reeds or rushes, St. Brigid’s Cross is used to invoke healing and protection from the Saint.
