This 14 karat yellow gold Saint Brigid’s Cross pendant is medium size and comes on 18” gold chain. The cross is double sided, where both sides of the cross are identical. The name of the cross comes from our patron saint Brigid. The St Brigid’s cross was first made with reeds and rushes which gives the design its unique look. Hanging this cross above your door was said to protect homes from evil, fire and hunger. This necklace has been Irish hallmarked by the Assay office at Dublin Castle.
