This cobalt blue wine glass is engraved with the trinity knot design.
The trinity knot is a symbol with a rich history dating back to about 400 AD. This triangle shaped symbol with intertwining loops has a variety of meaning including the three stages of life–youth, adulthood, old age–and the Holy Trinity–the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. It is a form of Celtic knot meaning it has no distinct beginning or ending. The interwoven nature of the symbol depicts unity between the three, eternity, continuity and the connection between generations.
